Last Night On the Town

Heading downtown for a last hurrah with our friends before we all went our separate ways. It was hard to believe that a year had already passed and it was already time to say, 'goodbye.' It was sad, but this meant we were one day closer to moving to Seoul, so we didn't get too down.

Some of us met early for dinner. A few weeks earlier, Sam & Eunjeong introduced us to a delicious new Korean dish. The friends we were meeting had also never tried it, so we passed the hidden gem along.

This restaurant took the standard pork Korean BBQ, and improved it exponentially. They sliced it thinner and covered it in a delicious, spicy sauce. The final product is best described as, "spicy bacon." It's awesome!

Mmmmm, spicy bacon

The obligatory chug contest

These Koreans enjoyed our chug contest so much that they donated a half consumed triple to the table.

The hand-off

Allie went for the chug, but the air bubble and the rush of beer caused by the fluted shape of the glass proved too much for her. More beer might have gone onto her shirt and skirt than down her throat.

When we exhausted all that Garten Bier had to offer (beer and pizza sausage) we headed to a norae bang for a little karaoke.
