A couple of badasses leaving the hotel...
You have to eat ramen in Japan at least once.

Anpanman is a very popular cartoon character in Korea. We don't know much about the show, only that he is a superhero named after some sort of sweet bun. Like many other things, Andrew was told that Anpanman was Korean, but seeing that company is based in Tokyo, that was clearly a lie. (Other things we've been told were native to Korea that aren't are watermelons and Japanese cherry blossoms!) You have to eat ramen in Japan at least once.

Rikugien Garden is a traditional Japanese Edo-style park that dates back from the late 1600's. It is designed a way to reflect the elements of waka poetry, a genre of classic Japanese verse and literature. According to Lonely Planet, "The design is said to evoke famous scenes from Chinese and Japanese literature." That might be true, but it was so damn hot out that those famous scenes were hampered by our swamp ass and overall discomfort...
These birds (magpies maybe) were so big and scary and loud and gross and everywhere and dirty and scary
So many turtles
Possibly more turtles than carp in the carp pond...
What time is it? It's self-timer time, that's what time!!!
The only non-awkward one we got
Nice attempt on the squat, Andrew...
A bird house
Re-hydrating
Old, saggy trees...
It was easy to forget that this whole
place was right in the middle of the city
Various pond shots...
BAD senior pics
Clearly a ride that has been 'pimped'

This was the closet Andrew has been to a Moons Over My Hammy (his one true passion in life) in 11 months, but Judy said (direct quote), "No, no, no. You don't come all the way to Tokyo to eat at Denny's. Blah, blah, blah, I'm a crazy female hear me roar, yappity, yappity, etc, etc," so Andrew will now have to wait until December to feast on a Moons. Needless to say, this has caused some tension in the relationship!
