Yangnyum Galbi, a delicious (and difficult to pronounce) dish found at many BBQ restaurants, is marinated meat from the rib area of a pig. While not the most popular BBQ option among Koreans, it offers the most tender meat with the least amount of weird and fatty bits, so it's our favorite. It usually comes as a strip of scored meat rolled around a small section of a rib, that's then cut up after a short time on the grill.
The main drawback to Korean BBQ is that the smell embeds itself in your clothes. Most of the time you just have to accept it and continue your day or night smelling of grilled meat, but some BBQ places have gotten wise to the situation, like this one, and have a bottle of Fabreze available by the door.
Giving Miranda a spray down
(Fabreze's odor fighting powers are increased
when the sprayer bites their bottom lip)

For the majority of the time the dance floor was baron, but as soon as the DJ started in with MJ, we quickly migrated down and made some friends.
Since you can't have a night out in Korea without hitting up a karaoke room, that's where we headed next.
