After dinner, which was insanely huge and spicy mussels, we headed to do probably one of the coolest things we've ever done. At a mall we were at in Thailand the year before, we discovered a shooting range where you could rent anything from handguns to assault riffles. The shooting 'range' had just moved in when a store had gone out of business. Sketchy. While it was awesome, it seemed just a little too dangerous, so we didn't do it. Malaysia offered a similar service, which was slightly less dangerous, still sketchy and still in a shopping mall, so we didn't hold back this time.
We each got an awesome forearm guard and archery glove. The only disappointment was that there weren't quivers to go over your shoulder available!
Judy claims she didn't have the best aim because her bow was too heavy and she lost control as soon as she released the arrow. There's always an excuse with this girl...
After an exhausting (and exciting) round of competition, we decided to head to McDonald's to celebrate with dipped cones. We could think of no better cap to a perfect evening!
The locals watching us take these photos really liked when Andrew attempted to give Ronald bunny ears. The old man let out a big, awesome laugh! We don't know if that was the first time he's seen that move, or he simply recognized how lame it was, but either way his reaction was hilarious!
