Anyway, on this day, much like Valentine's Day in other parts of the world, people give boxes of Pepero to their friends and loved ones. Grocery stores have elaborate Pepero displays (giant hearts made from Pepero boxes, etc) and most convenience stores have tables set up on the sidewalk advertising their candy and gift selections. Some bakeries even dip full-sized baguettes into chocolate to make gigantic Peperos that can be personalized with frosting. It's actually made into a far bigger deal than it should be, and Koreans, children especially, take it pretty seriously.
This year for Pepero Day, all of Andrew's students told him how important it was and stressed to him that he needed to get Judy something. When he asked what one gets a girlfriend on Pepero Day, he was told a long list of things starting from boxes of Pepero themselves to stuffed animals to flowers and finally to elaborate, expensive dinners.
Logically, the next photograph would be of what Judy got Andrew for Pepero Day, but she didn't get him anything... NOTHING AT ALL.
Lucky for her, he doesn't hold a grudge and throw this in her face every chance he gets...
