Thanksgiving in Korea

What's Thanksgiving without pumpkin pie?
Only problem is, they don't sell canned pumpkin in
South Korea, so we were forced to start from scratch.

The pumpkin halves going in the oven

The recipe called for a food processor, but those aren't in Korea either!
So, the knife and cutting board were the next best thing...

We made a 'graham cracker' crust with crushed waffle cookies

Ready to go in the oven

Done!
And it tasted just like home!

Turkey is another item not found in Korea,
so we had rotisserie chickens instead.
Korey was our designated chicken puller.

We had turkey (chicken), mashed potatoes, gravy,
corn, green bean casserole, mac n cheese,
Stove Top stuffing, candied yams,
veggies and dip, and sausage and crackers.

And everything ended up tasting
exactly as it was supposed to!

Ready to eat

(which was actually more like sparkling grape juice)

Speech! Speech! Speech!

This is Matt, not a pornstar from the 70's

Not sure what's happening here

Group shots to say,
"Thank you for sending the Stove Top, Rhonda!"

Again, not a 70's pornstar

After all the beer, wine, scotch and soju was
consumed at our apartment, we headed
to a bar to continue the festivities.

Hmmm, I think I'll have a Long Ireland Tea, please...

of us on the wall, taken the last time we were there.

She cheated. That's the only reason Andrew lost...

This might be a fight or might be a dance, not sure

And the bar was already decorated for Christmas.
