Everyone Should Visit Bali - Part 1 - The Villa

For spring break we left the frozen lands of South Korea and headed for warmer weather below the equator. During our week on the magical island of Bali, we called The Club Villas home.

Home!
Looking up the driveway

Our villa is down the path and on the left

Looking back toward the driveway

Our front door. It even had a doorbell!

Looking through the door, into paradise

The pool and our sun chairs

Loved this fountain!

The fountain in the rain
The kitchen and the dining room

More of the sun chairs and the pathway to the outdoor shower.

In the rain.
That Speedo is never going to dry this way!

View of the porch and kitchen from the sun chairs
Heading to the shower

The outdoor shower. The greatest thing on earth!

View from the shower into the bathroom. That's actually the toilet you see...

Heading back towards the pool

There were always a few flowers floating around in the pool
The living room and the door to the bedroom

The biggest bed on the planet

Looking back at the porch
TV and sweet boombox

The indoor shower and the toilet. Nope, no door on the toilet.

The tub filled with rose petals

View from the throne (photo actually taken while seated on the toilet)

This place was perfect. It was located off the main street in Seminyak, so shopping and eating were close at hand, but far enough down the drive that we couldn't hear any of the bars, clubs or taxis during the night. The location aside, the private pool was the real seller. Bali is, hands down, one of the hottest places on earth so being able to come home and cool off in the pool every few hours was a life saver.
