Andrew's Classroom

The day before this picture was taken it said, "Andrew Kinball."
Now it says, "Andrew kimball."
Still not quite right, but it's as close as it is going to get.

Andrew's boat shoes on the bottom.
No idea whose shoes are on the top shelf.

Andrew's indoor shoes.
Not a clue what those characters mean.

English Class!
(Its like a preschool classroom from the future)

The Emily Dickinson and William Wordsworth poems displayed in the hall

Let's sing the alphabet song!

A,K,Y,O,U,N,Z,
S,B,T,J,X,C,L,
P,Q,K,E,S,J,
W,L,D,H,G,F,V
Now I know my ABC's...

This hallway was completely redone one month ago, and no one thought to put the alphabet in order or remove the duplicate L and J!

Carpe Diem... That's not English

The non-native English speaking elementary school students will understand Wordsworth and Dickinson, but not this Forrest Gump quote...
It's a good thing they translated it into Korean for them.

Easily recognizable pictures from English speaking countries.
We've got France, the US, Australia and England.

Inside the classroom

The front right corner is the blue screen

To turn the big TV on, you just have to wave your hand under the middle of it

View with the white boards covering the TV's

Camera on the blue screen

This camera is controlled by instructors teaching via satellite.
Their image appears on one of the TV's, and this camera allows them to see the class.

Andrew and Myung Kyo's office, library and reading room

The essential electronics:
computers, printer, copy machine and electric kettle

You must remove your shoes before entering the reading area

(Still in the process of stocking the library)

A young teacher with purple hair is on a train with elephants on it near your home in the middle of the night.

What?

No one keeps time like Pooh

These umbrellas keep the sun from entering the classroom

The two excellent wallpaper patterns chosen for the rooms:
