The official parade lasted from 1-8pm. After that, there were 100+ smaller boat parties just following the parade route.

After Amsterdam, we headed back to London for our final night in Europe.
We stayed at a bed & breakfast near Heathrow.

In the morning, we discovered the property was covered with huge chickens

Our trip to see Michael Jackson... Part 3

We spent our last day in London wandering around Notting Hill
(It drizzled most of the day, so there aren't many photos, sorry)

---------------------------

Our fist (and only) transportation mishap occurred in Brussels.
A train pulled up to the platform 10 minutes before the Amsterdam
train was scheduled to depart, so we assumed it was the Amsterdam bound train.

We were wrong, and that is how we ended up here.
We just had to go one stop, get off and go back.
In all it only set us back an hour, so it wasn't too bad.

Arriving in Amsterdam, we were told that the apartment we rented
was out of hot water and that we were moved to the only available apartment they had.

The new apartment was named, "Herman Brood," after the Dutch artist.
(We don't know who he is either)
While climbing the 5 flights of stairs, Martin, the property manger,
told us that the apartment was normally reserved for banking clients.

Some artwork above the bed
The headboard you can see was made for a queen mattress,
but under the comforter was two twin mattresses!

(water, Heineken, potatoes, OJ, cheese and a pizza)

Snacks!
