Dinner commenced Part 3 of the plan. We were going to eat and then head out to the university district of Busan to do a little dancing. For dinner, Dave was given the decision. He had two options: Indian or Italian. He went with Italian. Andrew is pretty skeptical of Italian food in Korea, so he wasn't too pleased, but the restaurant ended up passing his test. It was an authentic Italian pizza. It wasn't Korean-ized in any way, which was a big surprise.
Us at dinner
Andrew, Korey and Sam
Not sure why Andrew is making this face...
We ended up at some club with a live band. It was pretty cool.
Adam and Andrew were the two people most into dancing!
Heyyyyy!
Feeling the jamz!
Andrew trying to make his best Cam Dudman face!
The Band
Korey watching the band
Woobasement was the name of the next joint we went to.
A girls only tequila shot.
The only person excited about the shots was the girl that bought them. We're not sure who she is...
We discovered Club Prada on the ground level of a building under construction. Everything about it seemed sketchy.
The Korean at the bottom says: Female Private Club
On the way back to the Mashnote for bed, we stopped at this Family Mart for some water and found this peacock statue.
While we were crossing the street, we saw signs for a place called Sharky's. That was all it took to make the decision for us, Sharky's it was! When we got there, it was completely dead, minus the motorcycle racing that was on every TV. We found a little room in the back and took it over.
She might be singing here, we're not sure
Teresa stole these sweet knock-off Raybansfrom the bookshelf behind her.
The really safe looking fire escape
While at Sharky's, Andrew and Teresa decided they have the same amount of muscle in their arms. This assumption lead to an arm wrestling match to find out who was actually stronger.
In the right corner, we have Teresa Donald...
...and coming all the way from Washington state, we have Andrew in the left corner.
Let's get ready to RUMBLE!!!!
Sweet angle...
It was a close match, but Andrew ended up taking the gold! Teresa and Andrew's match then turned into an intense arm wrestling tournament...
Teresa vs Dave
Dave (clearly throwing the match)
Teresa thanking him for letting her win
Dave vs Korey (The real men face off)
Not sure who the winner ended up being
Andrew didn't stand a chance
We're not actually sure who this girl was. She was in the bar alone and, we guess, saw how exciting the arm wrestling was so she joined us for a match. Judy was the lucky one that got to take her on.
"Who was that girl I just arm wrestled?"
Amy vs Emily
Go Amy! Go Amy!
Korey vs Teresa
Did she really think she could beat him?
After the arm wrestling, some bible study/foreigner hiking club started having a meeting, so we were forced to move. It was really weird.
"Girl, you looks good, won't you back that ass up You'se a fine motherf****r, won't you back that ass up" -Juvenile
Saying goodbye to Emily
The next place we found, Gecko's, had an extensive list of shots. Naturally we ordered the weirdest and worst sounding ones.
Not trying to brag, but we might be card carrying members...
Andrew really liked this building
The girls
Teresa and Amy tried to start a dance party on the sidewalk.
Judy didn't want to join in, but Teresa wouldn't take 'no' for an answer......so she chased poor Judy
----------
After Gecko's, we decided it was time to head back to the Mashnote to freshen up a bit (play in the kiddie pool) before leaving again for dinner.
This group saw Andrew take the last picture, then they posed for this one.
